Now if you read my old reviews you know I am not a big Nub fan, and the only Cain I really liked is the Cain F550, but when I saw this Cain sun grown 654T, a nub sized Cain sun grown torpedo with a price tag of € 7,50 I decided to light it. The cigar is quite new I guess as the Cain website doesn't even mention them.

Once I release the cigar from the cellophane wrapper I see an oily and shiny wrapper, quite dark, with a few veins. Like all nubs and cains, the cigar has a band on the foot. The construction feels good. The predraw is fine and I taste a mild and dry tobacco flavor.

I taste a dry and spicy earthy flavor with some sweetness. The flavors are full, just like I expected from a Cain. After a third I taste wood with a mild sweetness.

Halfway I taste another, a better, wood flavor with a floral support flavor and some pepper. I also taste a little bit of nut.

Even though this is a short smoke, it lasted me for an hour and forty five minutes. The draw is good, a little on the mild side of good though. The smoke is thick and plenty. This cigar is full bodied and full flavored and has a firm silvergray ash.

Would I buy this cigar again? I just might, when I want something thick & phat.
