Bummer......

Hopefully, they will have some US dates close enough I can see them a couple times. One of the best shows ever was their Screaming For Vengeance tour.

I saw The Who are their "Farewell Tour" in 1982, so don't despair, Scott.

I first saw Judas Priest in '78 or '79 on the "Hell Bent For Leather" tour, backing up U.F.O. in Chicago. I had never heard of them before....and they proceeded to blow U.F.O. off the stage.

I caught that same tour! I love UFO and Michael Schenker's lead guitar, but, The Priest definitely blew them off the stage!:banger I think they keep getting better with age; kinda like the lot of us. ;)

If you think that's gonna fly around here, You Got Another Thing Coming. I'm keeping my Electric Eye on you.

Yep, saw their Screaming for Vengance tour at the SF Cow Palace. I even had an old VHS of it when they showed the concert on MTV way back in the stone age. :D Saw them about five times. Sort of a shame they are stopping, but man, they gotta be old enough to retire by now, they were old back in the 80s. :D

My thoughts exactly. Hope they have a great farewell tour, then get back for the reunion tour next year.:)

That's OK, they said they had no idea you had joined Cigar Asylum. :D

I love Judas Priest. I too hope they play in the USA. The last time they were playing locally, I was at the Canadian Grand Prix. So mad they were both the same weekend.

A friend of mine has Judas Priest 24 track studio recordings and we were listening to them last night. It's pretty cool hearing each instrument and vocals seperately.

Nothing like just hearing Halford alone on "another thing coming".

Yup that is the vocal part. He was re-mastering the songs with different tracks than what Judas Priest ended up with. It's cool to hear how someone else would master the song with all the tracks used to make the song.

I saw Halford open for Ozzy few weeks ago, wasnt uber impressed, is Judas Priest as a band that much better than Halford, or did I get a meh performance?
