So I have been going out with a wonderful woman for the past 4 months ( :) ) and her birthday is coming on Monday (6th of DEC).

I already got her a 14 mp Canon Digital Elph, which takes great pics and is slick and cute. I would've gotten one with more bells and whistles but they are bulky and not as cute. I am thinking dinner/wine and then give her the gift at that point but I am very open to ideas.

If you haven't guessed I am extremely fond of this lady and want to do it right!

Thanks for any ideas, thought and insite you may have!!

I bought some earrings from here. They are great pieces and the crystals are highly sought after. Great jewelry at a great price. Look to see if they have a store near you.

As Larry has said Swarovski is always good -- earrings, bracelets, and necklaces are always welcomed by women!

You might start off by having some nice flowers or a plant delivered to her at work along with a card. I know my wife (and her friends) always like receiving flowers at work...

Sounds like you have a great plan. After dinner you should take her home, draw her a nice warm bath with candles and then get something from pajamagram for her to wear after. I have gotten my wife things from there and she always wears them.

You have a good plan. I have to agree women love flowers sent to their work for any reason or no reason. And if you really like her as in you might think she could be the one. You have to get some kind of jewelry.

Trip(s) to the spa are always enjoyed.I forgot about this -- it is a good idea too.

Also a Manicure or Pedicure (or both) are always good things to give..,

At dinner go with a dozen roses and slip a fake one in there, make sure it kind of sticks out. When she gets them put a card with them or tell her you'll stop loving her when the the last rose dies. ;) Guaranteed for someone to get lucky after that brother!! :tu With whatever you go with Good Luck!

Uberoom (http://www.uberoom.com/romantic-rooms-1/birthday-34/) can help you, they can decorate her place for her birthday! Order any package and personalize it with a "Happy Birthday" banner, streamers, birthday hats, or more. If it's a surprise, we'll make sure it stays a secret until she opens the door. We'll set it up in your room at any Hotel, Bed & Breakfast, or Vacation Rental. If you want to set-up your her room, simple directions are included! No better way to ruin things than to have a SPAMMER add their crap to your thread...

I've only been married for 3 years but we were together for 8 before that. I'd like to offer a little advice that will help you in the long run. Do not set the bar too high when it comes to gifts. For 2 reasons. 1) it will make life so much more difficult for you on the next special occasion that requires gifts. Ff you blow your gift load all at once good luck finding new ideas next time. 2) it takes away from subsequent gifts in the future. It's human nature to compare things and you will forever be playing catch up.

On that note, your plan sounds great as is. If you must add to it though, flowers are man's multi tool!

I'm pretty sure that if Ken hasn't acted on this two year old thread by now, he probably doesn't need to bother. :D
