Well obviously after bills... or at least for some of us :r. But do you have any other hobbies or activities that you place before cigars? I never thought i'd see the day where the majority of my extra spending money went to something other then cigars. Now instead of saving up for a box of this or that its saving up for car parts.
At least i've got a pretty decent stash so i can smoke while i attend the next autoX this summer :banger. Might not come in first but i promise you i'll be the only one baller enough to be smoking a Tat SW reserva while taking hard corners, all i need is to make a classical music mix and find a way to drink my coffee through my helmet.

cigars are not on my priority list. Cigars are "nice to haves" not "need to haves" so get no priority with me.

I got a lot of interests. With that said, the money I spend on cigars doesn't compare to my other hobbies like wristwatch, fountain pens, and clothes. I don't own many of those stuff either. I'm still in the slow process of building up a quality collection. I'm still really young, so I'm looking forward to the long journey and I don't mind the wait.

I like
knives
beer
bourbon
rum
As far as priorities, after bills and whatnot.
1. Beer (I try everything new I can get my hands on)
2. bourbon/rum (anything new I like to try as long as it's not TOO painfully expensive)
3. Cigars (I do what I can when I have the funds. But the boxes I'm wanting now are QUITE pricey)
4. Knives, I bought a Strider SMF and for me it's about as good as they get. Though someday I want a Microtech Halo III and a XM-18 or 24 Hinderer.
Even though I spend more $$$ on cigars then anything they aren't at the top of my list. Just so happens the first 2 I've pretty much done all the damage I can do.

Cigars are right up there for what commands the most of my budget on a monthly basis, but then again I have no mortgage, car payments or children left at home. :)

It is estimated that I smoke more than 1400 cigars per year. I'll let you guys decide where this is on my priority list. :ss

I guess I'm at a good age where I don't find the need to spend a lot on hobbies any more. I'm past hot rodding cars, have more guns and ammo than I can use, have plenty of booze I don't even drink that often, don't really collect anything anymore, have too many bowling balls, and found that I can get most of my books at the library.
Cigars are my last real vice, and I don't mind diverting disposable income to them. So yeah, priority wise they're up there. :D

I have way too many hobbies to keep up with. But for Cigars I just budget a month of what I can spend on it. Sometimes the priority is too high for the "nice to haves" but I am a starving student after all so it is the same money troubles for everything!

1) Video Games
2) Finding new music
3) Stock Market
4) Cigars
5) Scotch
My priorities list (by money) for hobbies looks something like this:

I would say this is a good way to describe them. I love my cigars and love to get a hold of anything new but at the end of the day, if they're not in the budget they're not in the budget. I won't jeopardize not making the mortgage or car payments etc to get the latest or greatest release. I could probably stop buying now and be pretty set for a long time to be honest. I always say too that if I ever get into a bind where I need to some quick cash the first things to go will be the cigars and than the bike. I wouldn't be happy about it but at the end of the day a roof over my families head is far more important than a stock pile of cigars.

Cigars are a "lie-to-have-around" thing, but they are not a necessity. When I have disposable income (income that comes in which is not a part of the normal budget), cigars used to rank in the top three (fishing/hunting, books, cigars). Now, the disposable income is going to other things, like fixing up the new property. It has been 3 months since I bought a cigar, even stopping in at the B&Ms I haven't bought one.
Peace of the Lord be with you.

I'm definitely into cigars quite a bit. However, the one hobby that takes priority over them is safari hunting in Africa. If I was faced with the ultimatum of never smoking a single cigar for the rest of my days but got to go on a 28-day, full-bag safari to Tanzania or Zambia, it'd be "Bye, bye cigars".

I've had many hobbies over my life . At this time in my life , cigars are my hobby and have been for quite a few years . I always thought I would get tired of them or find something else but this is it for me now . My Collecting of sports cards and beer steins has lessened over the years and was always kind of lonely . With cigars I get relaxation , camaraderie and more enjoyment . So I would say cigars are 3rd on my priority list after Family and work . :2 Nice thread by the way .

Not very high since my new found fondness (in the last 6 months) for Single Malt Scotch. I try to taste everything I can get my hands on and that has been chewing up my budget a bit. I cannot get enough of the stuff.
I only smoke a couple cigars a week at most. Actually, the humidor has seen fuller days. I think I have 15-20 left and I am out. I really need to stock up when I hit bonus this year.

I don't really do much else unless it's time with the family. I rarely smoke during the day when I could be spending time. I usually wait until the kids are in bed and the wife is watching her shows. After being out at sea for several years it really puts priorities in perspective.

I like a good cigar, but in order of enjoyment:
Wine
Beer
Food
Cigar
Now above all I love a good cup of coffee or tea, but after all is said and done, a good cigar can fininsh the night off right...

based upon my stash of cigars, I would say that my priority level goes well beyond the "abnormal" limit. I think I could whip the "addiction" if they stop making new blends and writing such beautiful descriptions about them. Alas, that wont happen....so, I continue growing my hobby.

Outside of family/friends, cigars rank very high, seeing as it is how I make my living, met most of my best friends and pay my bills, they rank awfully high on my priority list...

Things are going to change for me. I buy about a 5er a week, and I have bought 2 boxes in the last week alone. I still have 2 5ers incoming.
I am imposing a cigar hiatus for a while. I need a new (used) car and I want to keep whatever loan I may need down to the bare minimum.
Unless I find a steal, it would still be several more months before I can seriously consider a car. Best case scenario is I can pay cash.
Used to be:
Work Spending (Try to keep money on hand for any big purchases)
Youth Hockey (Always getting that kid new stuff)
Cigars
Other Stuff, Guy-Toys, Kid Stuff, etc etc.
Going to be:
Work
Hockey
Car
Other
Cigars
