Are you serious Hollywood, really do we need to ruin another classic.

I was lisnening to Jim Rome this morning and he heard rumor that this is going to happen in the near future.

Top GUn 2 is an abomination. ALMOST as bad as The New Karate Kid.

In general, I agree that remakes pretty much suck. But there have been notable exceptions. Both the Batman and James Bond francises have benefitted in the recent past . . . at least in my opinion.


That being said, as for Top Gun 2 . . . pass.

I liked the part about Maverick being the instructor telling the pilots to draw them in close, putting on the brakes, and letting the other pilot fly right by him talk.

It was nothing like the original, but I liked the new Karate Kid film. The old one will always be far superior though.

...yes, I am very sensitive about a remake of this movie. I'd feel the same way if some Hollywood ass hat tried to remake Goonies or Back to the Future.
