Reason I'm asking is I have a Nikon with a Tamron 28-105 as my main lens and a Nikon 70-300 as well. I don't use the thing at all anymore, it's in pristine condition and was wondering if there's any market for such items.
Thanks,
Wade

Sweet missus here shoots film, but uses a Mamiya 645. Don't think they'll mesh too well. lol.
The boyo has a 35mm though and might could use a good zoom. Will ask him tonight if he comes home in time.

I still shoot film from time to time. Mostly with a Hassleblad though. I don't think that your gear would have any value, maybe $50 for everything.

God I love the sound of that shutter!
I know the body isn't worth a hill of beans, just thought as a package with two lenses...I was thinking $80-100, guess I was a bit off. Thanks for the reply, much appreciated.

Wow, that's the exact same setup I've got. Yeah, I'll bet our Son will be interested.

Cool, lemme know if he is. It'll most likely still be sitting here!

Sorry.. It is rough I have cameras I paid thousands for that are worth nothing now. Some of them just sit sadly on a shelf just hoping I get a project where they might be needed.

For $50 there's no way I'd get rid of it, hell I found the same lens (new) online for $170, so if that's all I'd get, I'll just use it as a boat anchor!

Or burn ants with the sun.
Just a thought for those with film cameras laying around:
Check with your local high schools. Both of my daughters and niece all took photography in high school (my youngest just graduated a year ago) and the requirement for the class is the use of film cameras. All three used my old equipment.
So schools might just need the equipment for those students who don't have. I'm sure they won't give you a few smokes for them but it can be a tax write off if you are so inclined.
Just a thought.
