Well the time has finally come for me to break down and buy an Aristocrat.
I have started speaking with Bob Staebell about the configuration.

Black Walnut w/sliding drawer for singles and slide-out middle shelf for boxes. Either a glass or raised panel door and an inlay top.

All I can do is

No really. With the bottom pull-out shelf, you won't have to remove all the front boxes to get to the back ones. Plus, there is room under the shelf to put either thin boxes (10 counts) or singles. I have over 60 singles down there just aging away. I don't remember how much extra it was, but it was definitly worth it.

Ironing out the final details in the next couple of days. I decided to take Marc's (Parshooter) suggestion and get a rollout shelf on the bottom, too. Went with the raised panel door. Wood choice is still up in the air - black walnut or dark brown mahogany.

Hell Peter, if wood is what you wanted, I could send you some blue pills that will take care of that. However, remember, if your erection lasts more than four hours, consult a physician.:r (side effects may include blue vision, headaches, stuffiness, death, etc.)
