Looks clean! I miss the days when I could pop the hood and actually see the engine and dig into it.

Course back then it seems I was always replacing the plugs, points, condenser. Playing with the carb. Adjusting valves.

Maybe I don't miss it so much. :D

Does he have a Wookie? Because that would be cool. Having a Wookie.

One doesn't technically "have" a Wookie, I suppose. I would say, moreover, that a Wookie would "tolerate" a somewhat food-like pilot.

Green '73 AMC Pacer Wagon with faux wood paneling a blue passenger door, a yellow tailgate and a Buick big-block shoehorned in under the hood.

Oh, and Mexican sarape blankets for seat covers.

But it's got a cool stereo system.

Well, over here, American cars aren't exactly renowned for their cornering ability...

I've been hiding - making ends meet, touring, sleeping in the front seats of a merc sprinter round europe for 3 and a bit weeks... been pretty damn busy. Just getting back in to the swing of things... so expect me to hassle you some more!

It's all very well and good being as fast as a destoyer, but if you can't avoid the reef when you see the lighthouse, you're still scuppered! Get yourself an original Mini Cooper and do that up.... might be small, might not sound like a beast, but I promise you'll have fun!

Although, I do possibly admit to having a bit of a thing for VW Type2 split-screen 21-window deluxe SoCal style, with a Porsche 911 turbo engine/drive train/gearbox/brakes/suspension on some nice EMPI 5 spokes. They handle like a Blue Whale on barbituates.

Are we talking all-right-hand turn American Oval road handling, or European Street Circuit road handling ;)

In all seriousness, I totally understand the appeal of the big old US cars... if I didn't live in Europe, I might even consider owning one... but hell, I can drive around my country about 5 times before you've even left your state, so it'd be entirely pointless on our narrow, winding, roads!

1979 Z/28 I ordered new and 2002 Mustang GT.Both were excellent handling cars.

1979 Z/28? Who are you, Burt Reynolds?

Beautiful ride! I have a '53 Chevy 5-window stepside. Just waiting for the time and money to start the frame off resto. I'm planning on a fuel injected 502, tubular independent front, and 4-link with bags on the rear. Looking forward to doing some hot rod tours some day.
