Don't fall into the trap of displaying all your cigars OPEN, though. Keep em closed up.

My next challenge will be figuring out humidification for this monster.

Probably best would be one of the standalone set and forget systems + 2LB's of HCM or Heartfelt beads spread evenly throughout. At least that is how I would probably do it.

I would also season it for probably a good month before I started putting cigars in. That is A LOT of cedar to get seasoned.

... all you people getting towers... i don't even wanna show my new humidor... lol

Thanks for the advice...I'm actually picking this up in Sioux falls. Former cigar store owner went belly up and is selling it dirt cheap.

The price was just way too good to pass up. 250$ for that beast.

So much for that post I did about wanting a nice modest humidor eh?

You do realize what the name of this place is, right? And I'm assuming you are including yourself in that statement. ;);)

Thanks! I'm super excited. Got the place all picked out for it and just ordered an oasis II for it. Next up will be several pounds of beads.

Awesome humi!! Just in case you're curious, we have been discussing what methods people were using for humidity in my giant humi (http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=36111) thread as well as dom's, which he linked. Pictures in place are gonna be awesome!

Here it is, all cleaned up, polished and starting the humidification process. In the deal, the seller threw in 7 desktop humis, 1 Cigar caddy, a couple of really cool 2 stick holders, two novelty golf bag cigar holders, assorted lighters, cutters, scissors. All kinds of stuff. WAY more than I need. If anyone needs a good deal on a 20 count or a 50 count desktop, let me know.
