A friend gave me a nice Caminetto humidor. Very nice. I cannot find any information on the web about this company except that it makes expensive pipes. Is this humidor worth some good dollars?

Never heard of the company, and google produces little info. However, if the company makes high-end pipes, they probably wouldnt skimp on the humidor... plus, you got it for free, so you cant beat the price.

Very nice, but get rid of the Credo humidifier and get yourself some RH beads and a digital hygrometer.

While there are several vendors who sell excellent products; I can only speak for what I've used myself, and that is Heartfelt:

I personally use their 65% beads and my sticks smoke well right out of the humi.

Caminetto is very well known pipe brand. That humidor is very nice and yes, probably cost quite a few pennies.
