No not because of my humidor temps but it's been too hot and humid to get outside with a cigar. Even at night it's been boiling hot and super humid. I would even be willing to sit outside in the heat to enjoy a smoke if it weren't so humid that by the time I got to the halfway point the stick would feel and smoke like a wet sponge. Hate to say it but I am actually looking forward to the cooler months already. I may have to visit the local B&M this weekend just so I can sit and enjoy one there in the A/C. Either that or figure out how to redirect an air duct into the garage.:r

I agree John. This midwest humidity is a killer! I've found time to smoke on the way to work but not any good cigars, just yard 'gars. But the good news is the heat is supposed to break next week!!

I feel for you guys out there where the humidity is a killer. Here in Wyoming it is just hot and that on its own can dampen my enjoyment of a cigar. I can't imagine adding that humidity in there like you guys are enduring. I hope that you get some relief soon and get back to enjoying your nightly burn. :D

Come to south Texas right on the border and let me know how it is. I have been watching Houston's weather, moving there soon, for the last two months. Nearly every day in the last month they have had a heat advisory. Meanwhile here it is hotter, more humid and higher dew point and we got no advisory whatsoever. LOL

BTW our heat index averages 106 here.

They used to say: "Its not the heat its the humidity"
The other night it cooled off some got a good smoke out and at half way it turned bad, would not burn very good. Plus mosquitoes ate me up..

I once asked a guard at Wolf Creek if I would get in trouble if I had a switch blade, he said NO I was bringing a knife to a gun fight...:r

I went to Houston last year, it was around April I think. I think I lost like 15 lbs in 3 days, I couldn't imagine getting in to July and August down there. I would have not left my hotel room. Talk about a case of swamp butt...:r

It's beautiful here in the fall.

I'll tell you what, Kevin...I'll give you the opportunity of a life time. You can come out here and stay at my house for free and experience a true NE fall...including raking up all the leaves in my yard!! What do you say??? :r:r

I'll admit that Fall in the Northeast is awesome. Before moving here from Long Island almost 4 years ago I dreaded the winter and will deal with the summer heat here over what seems to be the eternal never ending Winters. Fortunately I can smoke outside a good bit of the winter as it rarely gets to be that brutally cold here where it literally hurts to be out too long. I think since moving here I have only worn a winter coat 4 times. Usually I head out in the winter with a sweatshirt on and am good to go. I usually only need to stay away from Tats or other thin wrapped smokes here in the winter as they do still tend to crack because after all it is still cold. This summer has been pretty brutal compared to summers past since moving here. We have had little to no relief from the heat for the last couple months and it's really cutting into my cigar smoking. My cycle usually goes like this, Stock up in the Winter and smoke my stash in the Summer with little to no buying. I have also been buying more this Summer compared to most so my plan is all screwed up anyway. I need to pick up a tower asap so I can still do my buying this winter otherwise I will be out of room for any new inventory. (I know, I know that's a good problem to have:r) Plus it never fails lately that all the Thunderstorms come through on Friday and Saturday night. Perfect example, My wife was in NY last week and all afternoon Saturday I planned to fire up a LFD Solomon and than the Thunder and lightening rolled in so I went with a shorter smoke figuring it would start raining and I would be relegated to the oven I call a garage. The rain never did come but once I finished the first smoke there was no way I was starting that Solomon at 11:30. Oh well, it will burn soon enough!
I'm super psyched for the fall to finally come so I can start smoking on a more regular basis. This one stick every week, sometimes every other is getting old.

I'm ready for fall as well. I usually smoke during my lunch hour at work, but it's been so miserable the last few weeks I've had to cut it short. It's been 95+ degrees with high humidity, even sitting in the shade for a little while and I start sweating. Can walk back into work smelling of cigar, with sweat spots on my shirt. :)

Tired of this crap, bring on fall!

Moving from MI to TN, I hate the heat. In the winter I can easily smoke a cigar or two a day, now it's like 2-3 per week. Annoying.
