(smoking one now as I write this)

This cigar is really good...

This is the new La Niveladora vitola, a box pressed toro.

About the same flavors as the non-box pressed JdNADCs but the slower burn makes it smoother, creamier and brings out the richness of the cigar.

La Niveladora translates to "The Bulldozer" - I’d say that’s about right. This cigar hits slowly, deliberately, and with an uncompromising strength and body that does not relent, just when you think it’s slowing down, it throttles up and just pushes back harder.

-----

(update to right now...)

I have about 2 inches left on this cigar and it’s relentless.

It’s not stopping or losing traction...

They are being officially released this week at IPCPR. They should be on the shelves within the next few months.

Just to clarify, this is part of the Joya De Nicaragua Antano Dark Corojo line right?

That is correct.

BTW - Apologies for no photos - my cheap digital camera doesn't focus well in low light and with low power yellow porch lighting, all of the photos ended up looking like fuzzy blobs.

You should have taken them in the bathroom, they are more authentic that way...

But this cigar wasn't a counterfit.

I had one of these last night. Very densely packed and long-lasting. Not a lot of dynamic in the flavor, but what's there is deep and satisfying. Very little of the flavor occupies what I would describe as the 'front' of the palate, so I think this cigar would go absolutely beautifully with a cup of coffee. That's just speculation, though- I haven't paired them yet.

Anyway... goot cheet, Maynard. :tu
