Differences in Humor by Gender

Is it a gender thing as to why I find the movies "Death to Smoochy" and "Run Ronnie Run" hysterical, and my wife looks at me like I'm a moron?
I just think she has no sense of humor, but well, she did marry me, so the joke is on her!!
