It's a 2005 Honda Shadow Aero VT750. It's like sitting in a lounge chair, and the Vance and Hines pipes sound freakin awesome.
I've had one bike or another since I was about 8 years old, and put them away when I had my daughter. I switched to four wheelers. :)
I got rid of my four wheeler a couple years ago when I moved to town and haven't had a ride ever since.
It's way past due, even if I won't get to ride her a whole lot.
Here she is...

Congrats on the bike.:banger She's gorgeous.
I had a 2005 Aero the same color as yours in '05. Any questions about it don't hrsitate to PM me on it. 100% good purchase. I should have kept mine and turned it into a bar hopper. In the Aero line I like the "R" model the best. Retro rocks!

Enjoy her, be safe!
Nice wheels Scott. I have a 2001 Roadstar and I don't ride it much, and I have thought about selling it. It is paid for and aint costing me a dime sitting out there in my shed, and when I want to I can get on it and ride anytime.:tu
Great bike!!! That gets 2 :tu :tu

I'm not having much Honda reliability so far. On the way home the speedo broke and now she left me stranded in town, won't run at all. :D
She's on the trailer and headed for the shop in the morning.
I just want her back to go riding this weekend!!! :)
Scott, this is where I used to hang out at.

This forum is to the Aero as what CA is to cigars. There are some extremely friendly and very knowledgeable people there.

What they don't know about the Aero there isn't worth knowing. They have more info, specs, discount codes, etc for parts. You will see some sharp looking Aeros there. I would love to see the Aero in a 1500ccc to 1800cc motor. I'd be all over it.

I took my sweet baby to the Honda shop and dropped her off.
Hopefully they'll get to it quick and I can get back out on her. I'd like to go riding with Lisa this weekend. She's had a Honda Shadow 500 for about ten years, and now she wants my bike. She's due for a new one, so I suppose we'll have to start looking. :)

So far, so good, my brother. I'm not so sure how I'll hold up on long trips, but we've found a recipe of pills that keep me pretty much straightened out muscle-wise.
It's super comfortable and doesn't bother my back at all, but I haven't been on it for more than 20 minutes yet. We'll know soon enough. If it doesn't work out, I can trade it for cigars. :d

More good news...
Ron at the Honda shop called. He fixed my speedo and a problem with my lights.
He chased the ignition problem, and that one is gonna cost me. It was the ignition module. He said in all the years he's done this, he's never seen one go bad, nor has he ever ordered one.
The whole ordeal will probably cost around 500 bucks. That's pretty cheap to put my mind to rest. :tu

I got a call yesterday, my bike is all fixed. Only $611.09 give or take a few cents.
I'm going to need to raise a few extra bucks, so I've become a prostitute. So far, not much luck. I'm keeping a positive attitude, though!!! :tu

Scott,
That is sweet looking.
Congrats and enjoy in good health.
Sorry Dude, when it's your time - it's your time. Not riding a scoot is will not matter. The car will go over an embankment, the high coloesterol will get you, or a bolt falling off an airplane from 33,000 feet will get ya in the head. Everything in life is/can be dangerous, even kite flying. Might as well enjoy doing the things that make life happy. I'd rather eat a tree at 80 mph on the scoot tomorrow than be 79, laying in a bed drooling down my chin and wondering what my name is.

I got my bike back yesterday. Drove it to the top of the hill, speedo went out again.
So I got Ron to pull the wiring schematics and we started chasing wires.
The culprit was a pair of bare wires touching the license plate from the backside.
Someone must have had one of those goober blinky plates on it at one time and did a half ass job of cutting and capping the wires.
Sooooo...
Lisa and I rode up to Medix, had lunch, and came back through Piper and Karthaus and I showed her the white birch forest.
It was a gorgeous ride, and we had a blast. :tu
