Hey, inmates! My beautiful daughter was born Friday and I am trying to decide what cigar to smoke to celebrate. Here are the choices:
1. Hoyo de Monterrey Double Coronoa (Cuba)
2. Padron 1964 (my favorite "treat" cigar)
3. Montecristo #2
4. Opus X Double Robusto
5. Ashton VSG Spellbound
6. Other...your suggestion
Thanks everyone! Can't wait to hear the responses.

Congrats!
my advice would be to smoke a good one now and save something good for a few months from now to celebrate the first time you get to sleep all night :D

I'd recommend smoking the one that you love the most. You might want to consider picking up some 2010 ELs to commerate your daughter's birthyear. I am picking up boxes of montecristo grand edmundos in anticipation of my baby being more in Oct/Nov.
When my first child was born, I bought some vintage port and bordeaux wine to commemmerate her birth. She now goes past the wine fridge and points to that wine and says that is for me when I am 21. LOL
Adding cigars to the mix for this one.

I bought a box of the VSG for my daughter's birth, because that's my favorite treat cigar. So get the Padron if that's your favorite treat cigar!!!

As said above. Pick the cigar you enjoy the most. And also if at all possible pick up a box of the cigar that you smoke and smoke one each year on her birthday.

I concur get a box of smokes and by the time you finish, hopefully there will be a perfectly aged smoke to celebrate the year she was born!! :tu

Congrats on the baby. My first child will be here in 2 months. (A girl) Since I am new to cigars expect a similar thread from me in about 60 days or so.

What a great suggestion! Too bad it is hard to get Habanas stateside. Might have to call in a favor with some friends who are traveling abroad.
