I had seen these cigar box clocks on eb@y for anywhere from $25-50. I thought to myself, I want one of those!! But wasn't about to fork out that kind of money for one.

I was discussing this with one of my fellow BOTLs and he said "I want one made out of a VSG Box that he had" He said he would give me another VSG box to make me one out of and a few smokes as payment. DEAL!

So here is the finished products. I have a a few more boxes to make for a few more friends to. I'll post up pics of those soon.

If anyone is interested in one, let me know, and maybe we will work out a deal or something on one.

Dude's making a killing if he sells them for $25 or more.

Almost any craft shop or section in a store will have the movements and hands to make the project work.:tu

Ive seen them on e-say for upwards of $30-50 for higher ended cigar boxes..
I wouldn't go for more than $15+shipping though.

Looks great!

E-say.... I usually get them in bulk and save on shipping.

Are you offering to build and sell some? I would really like one of those. I would have to think about the box though.

Yeh, I can/will.
If u send me a box (or not, if I can get the box locally) and some PP "gift" I can send you a box clock.

Just finished this one up for bigliver. He wanted an Avalon box. It took a while to get it. Luckily I caught the shop owner when he was putting the empty on the "for sale" stack.

dude, i had the same idea. didn't realize they actually sold these. i tore apart a cheap ikea clock for the innards, but haven't gotten around to picking a box yet. might have to find some hands like yours. those are pretty sweet. good job!
