I tend to listen to vintage light jazz like Billie Holiday and Rosemary Clooney. Gives me the sense of what it may have been like sitting in a dark basement smokey jazz lounge. The great music fits right in with a good cigar, but then I'm old.:)

Jazz is my favorite smoking music.
Dave Brubeck is usually on. I like the classics too. John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, ect. Also Pat Metheny, Weather Report and Jaco Pastorius.

My favorite as well, if you like that make sure to check out the artists solo efforts as well. Segundo, Ferrer, and Mirabal (to name a few) have some great albums.

I usually create a Pandora station for Frank Sinatra or baroque/choral music. Depends on how I'm feeling or what I'm doing.

I just throw on a local station that is purely classical. It works well enough =)

I'm OLD too! Here is a good place to "test out' some Old Time Jazz.. The F'n Pleasure Police have pretty much kilt it out now but used to be you could go to the bar in a Sullivan's Steak House and smoke a Cuban in a mahogany wall place playing old time jazz - how I miss the good days!

Blue Note used to have a great radio on their website, just checked it, now they are working with Pandora, and it's only restricted to US internet connections. Well, good thing I have a couple of hundred gb of music on my pc ;)

CFCF - Raining Patterns
A good "chilling out" song. Kinda upbeat but very easy listeing song.
I tend to listen to trance and alternative music. Alternative isn't very good for smoking. Classic rock and trance is good stuff for me during smoking time.

You guys are so refined! No Slayer? No Pantera? No Nailbomb?
I love music and I'm in the business of recording it. To be honest, the mood picks the cigar and the music matches the smoke.
Sometimes Blues, sometimes Jazz, sometimes Oldies, sometimes NJ Hardcore, classic rock, hard Rock, 80's hair bands, Zappa, really he's in his own category, the list goes on.
Tho I can honestly say I've Never enjoyed a cigar with the company of Madonna, Britney Spears or Lady GaGa!

Any radio station that does not have a commercial saying they can make my manhood larger......
Other than that, I have been listening to Mumford and Sons.
