I enjoy sipping some 16yr Lagavulin along with an Anejo Shark 77. What Scotch do you enjoy with which cigar?

Last night I had a 16yr Lagavulin with an 08 Sir Winston. Best smoke I've had in a while, and the Scotch was stellar too. :tu

Generally, I gravitate toward peaty Scotch. Ardbeg 10yr, Caol Ila 12yr and Bunnahabhain 12yr are a few of the other SMSW I've been enjoying lately. :tu

My 2 favorites to drink when I smoke are Glenmorangie and Abelour.

I haven't been able to develop a taste for the peat yet :)

I think I am going out tonight and getting me some Glenlivet 18. And I am turning that picture into my laptops desktop background.

Now if I only had some lotion and a box of tissues and my wife wasn't home, it would be a perfect day!

I love many cigars, but I don't like Scotch.

Not a fan of ice but I enjoy hogs. :r

My favorite scotch would be Jura 16 year and it pairs well with cigars.

Glenlivit 18 is very good stuff. I've also been enjoying Glenmorangie quinta ruban lately. For peaty scotches, I like Talisker 10 and Laphroag 10.

Edit: It's not a single malt, but I had dewars 12 year last night paired with tatuaje regios and it was quite good.

Well, last night ended up killing 1/2 a bottle of Lagavulin and I brought 3 Bolivar CC's for my buds. We had a great time as always. The cigars smoked perfectly. After my cigar I tried a pipe and some Midnight tobacco. Totally different than a cigar but quite enjoyable. Good time had by all in the end.:D

I think that is it always best to have a wide selection on hand. I light up the cigar and let it tell me what to sip with it.

Last time, it was a 33 y.o. Rosebank with an 02 Sir Winston. Who knows about next time.

I will typically have a bourbon if I want something a lil stronger than beer with a smoke...

A crappy pic, but here's one that would be nice, esp on a cool evening after a hot day.

I drink a lot of scotches. I like an occasional glass of JW King George but drunk my last this week. When thats out JW Blue suffices. Also really starting to get into Glenfiddich 15 and Toumintoul 27. Also Laphroaig 18 has been hitting me off nice lately.

My wife and myself were just up in Canada for the weekend and she bought me some sweet christmas presents. A bottle of Macallan Select Oak and a Bolivar Corona Gigantes. I have never had either so im pretty happy, but shes making me wait until christmas before i can sample either. I guess its a small price to pay. Until then im enjoying a bottle of Aberlour 12 yr and whatever i can smoke without freezing my ass off outside.

Lagavulin 16
The Balvenie 15
Yamazaki 12 (not really real "Scotch" but one of the best single malts on the market in my opinion...especially for a 12 year old.)

Cigars?...yes
