After being on dial-up since first signing into the internet at home, I have now advanced to DSL. I am pumped!!! I am no longer limited by how fast a page loads, but by how fast I can read. Damn the torpedoes, Full speed ahead!!!:chr

Congrats! It makes a word of difference. I would hate to have to go back to dial-up, and I don't think I would be on the internet much if I did.:chr

Hey friend, I have had DSL for about 3 or 4 years. I live so far out in the boonies I'm surprised I got it then. It will make you spend more time on the net than before and make it a whole lot more enjoyable.:ss

It's the only way to surf the net.

I had to use dialup when I was on vacation a few years ago after having cable for lots of years. I had to kill myself.
It was freebie AOL running at 4kbs. It took me all day to download my email.
You're ruined now, my brother. Enjoy!!! :tu

That is what has been holding me back. I am able to get cable, but is seems expensive. I finally found out that I am able to get DSL and I bought my wife an IPod.....so now she can download songs/movies much faster....and I can sail through CA super fast. You guys won't even know I was here other then the trail of posts in my wake....bahahahaha.
