I been hearing report all day that this is a real possibilty. Bosh and James joining Wade in Miami. They would be a instant favorite to be in the finals IMO.

LeBron would fit in better with the Bulls -- more of the kind of players he needs to support him there.

Earlier Bosh squashed the idea of all 3 of them on the same team. I see a possibility of Lebron and Bosh to Chicago. Wade is gonna sign with Miami and Boozer will probably come down there too.

Aren't the Mavs already over the SC? Not sure how that would work....dumping a bunch of bad salaries to the Heat and Cavs in sign and trades....

That said, I'd rather see them both or either one in Dallas with Dirk than either, or, both in Chicago..... As Jimmy Morrison once said, the West is the best.....:tu

I keep hearing how LeBron will get less credit for winning a Championship in Miami than he would in Chicago? Like somehow playing with D. Wade and C. Bosh is easier than playing with Rose, Deng, Noah, Boozer….not to mention T. Gibson who played very well last year…..

IMO, the Bulls have a better team today than the Heat do…. In fact, I think one of the major reasons that LeBron wouldn’t sign with them is he thinks that it will be broken up in the next few years because Reinsdorf won’t pay to keep it together….

Maybe I am up in the night….?

I agree and it's all to familiar with what Shaq did to Orlando when he bolted to LA.

Cleveland at least gave it their best to keep him.

As a Knick fan, going to start out what is most likely a biased post.

A few things on this special bothered me.

#1 "This has been a humbling experience"
Says the man who is having a prime time special to announce what team he is going too.

#2 "I have always been a loyal person"
Tell that to the fans who are burning your jerseys in cleveland.

This is a punk move on his part. Jordan, Magic, Kobe, Duncan, the greats over my lifetime MADE their teams winners. His legacy in my mind is forever ruined. Wade will always have one more title Lebron, one that he basically won on his own.

I feel for the Cav fans, you unconditionally loved this punk and he told you that you weren't good enough.

I am not a basketball fan at all, I am a Dolphin fan and that's about it. I will say he didn't say Cleveland as a city and it's fans weren't good enough. He said the team wasn't good enough to win titles. He is right.

Man you guys are harsh....:r

Of course it is too bad for the fans of Cleveland.... But a player should go do what they want to do... If that is play with your friends and try to win some Championships....great. I don't think LeBron owes Cleveland anything....not the team, not the city.... Who are we/they to put those expectations on a kid?

As far as loyalty in sports.... That is such a joke....:pu Fans turn on players, owners dump players when it benefits them, bla...bla...bla.... Sports is business.... In reality, players are the only ones who have this "loyalty" expectation.

Though not a huge LeBron fan....I am excited to see what these three can do in South Beach.... And I say it again, I don't think this is the easy way... Chicago would have been the easy way.... That team is LOADED w/ LeBron....and still a favorite in the East without him.

I fear as a Utah Jazz fan, I will be going through this in a few years when Deron Williams bolts to Dallas.... I do not have a D. Williams jersey, but if I did....I wouldn't burn it that night....

I don't feel one bit for Cleveland losing LJ. Their loss, not his. Fans turn quite easily. Remember when they booed him during the series with the Celtics?

The man is quite possibly the best player in the NBA right now. He has won the MVP, it's his right to chase after the big trophy.

All this talk about instant and multiple championships is BS. Look at the Yankees, they have been the highest payrolled team for many years now and they have only won one world series in years. Just because you have the best players doesn't guarantee success.

I don't fault an athlete going for a better deal or more money. I do what I do for the money and would jump ship if another place offered a better deal.
I wouldn't have a one hour special to rub my former employers noses in it though.
That's just a bad way to leave a place that was very good to you and gave you the run of the place.

Good call Tom.

I think Dan Gilbert was a bit harsh, but his tone reflected the betrayal his team, his organization and his city are going through. See how Wade managed to "Sell" Bosh and Lebron? Why couldn't Lebron sell Bosh, who apparently had a sign and trade worked out between the Raptors and the Cavs.

I think we may hear down the road that these three had this in the plans since the 08 olympics. Player collusion isn't a punishable offense, but don't doubt that Pat the Rat knew what was up all along.

TheRiddick

He not only screwed Cleveland (they let go their coach and GM just to appease the idiot), but also other teams and free agents as well. Teams like Nets, for example, who could have gone after other players and are now left with no one to really pick (Lee was on the list for Nets yet that long delay allowed Oakland to sneak in, for example).

As is, I hope NBA looks into player tampering since it looks like LeBron, Bosh and Miami Heat (via Wade) conspired to make this happen. Players meeting 3 weeks before July 1st to "discuss strategy" is not allowed, AFAIK, yet NBA is strangely silent on the issue. Heat should loose all draft picks for the next X years so that teams in the future do not follow same BS "strategy".

If there is any justice, Heat will fail same way Manchester City futbol club failed last year after buying everyone they could for stupid money. There is only one ball to go around plus Heat now have to still build their bench with no money left to play with.

They won't. I had been suggesting that the 3 players were in collusion together for some time, and a friend suggested that the League stands to make too much money off this one team.

I disagree. You put 2 of the 3 biggest draws on the same team, thus reducing road gates. Not to mention Miami is the 17th largest market in the NBA, if Lebron went to Chicago or the Knicks he would play in the 1st or 3rd largest market. More money is to be made elsewhere.

I'd love to see these three spend the next 5 years playing with jim the parking lot attendant, and max from accounting due to restrictions placed on the team.

I'd LOVE to see someone like Lee suing LeBron for chances missed. Lee wanted to stay in NY area and Nets were looking at him, but everything was predicated on LeBron's "decision", which we know now was decided LONG AGO.

The league can and should step in with no uncertainty, limited cap room and no first round picks for the duration of the contracts LeBron, Wade and Bosh signed. Six years. Telling others that in future if they want to play same game, they can expect to stagnate for the duration of their scheme. This is not just tampering, but with 2 different players at the same time with the GM coordinating for months.
