I met Jimmy Dean when I was 10 years old at my Dads Moose lodge. Don't remember the details but to this day still remember how nice of a guy he was. He seemed well respected by all the lodge members. RIP JIMMY

Rest in peace, Jimmy. I enjoyed your music and your TV appearances much more than I did your sausage, and I just wish you were better known today for who you were rather than what you hawked.

Still gotta respect his entrepreneurialism and he did well with it. I agree it taste like crap and people still eat it everyday.

Man you can't knock Texas. At least in Texas they are still free to smoke cigars where they want.

Every state has stupid people... but that guy was freaking serious.

God Bless Jimmy Dean and his sausage!
