trying to figure this one out. Pickup goes plowing into the VW causing it to flip, then they hit a Toyota that was parked sideways?

ETA

how did the maroon vehicle get that much damage on it, what else hit it?

HOLY CRAP ! ! ! !

Glad no one was seriously hurt. God watched over that family in the Olds. I wonder if it was just an out of control vehicle.

Kids...when will they learn?

Like most of us - just about the time they have kids themselves.

Oh man,

I figured this was a staged crash for high school seniors going to prom. Holy hell....that is nuts!

DAYUM!!!

Now...looking at your pic and the one from the link...I see the photographer of the link pic in the background in your pic. Are you in the blue shirt next to the tree in the center of the pic in the link? LOL

Looks like the kid driving the truck came from the murky side of the gene pool.

You sure have quite the eye if you are correct. Waldo never had a chance to avoid your keen eyes when you were a kid eh?

My favorite bit of journalism, from the article:

"Remarkably, they suffered nary a scratch."

Another reason I advocate harder driving tests and the Tire Rack Teen Survival challenge. If you guys have a new driver or know of one, please have them look up that class, it really teaches kids how to drive. The in-car prac app and driving tests are too easy and not beneficial.

The best thing my dad did for me was take me to the track when I was younger. I saw one too many bad accidents to set me straight.

I'm going to say no. The pics were taken at different times and the perspectives are off for that to be true. Now, if it is him, my argument would be that it was a lucky guess and there is no way the pic he took was taken from the same place he was standing in the photographers pic from the link. Now, it would be much more likely that the photographer from the link was in his pic, but I'm saying no on the vice versa of that, which is what you guessed.

Nah, I bet this was just the extra credit on his physics final. "Using pieces from a Toyota Pickup and Volkswagon Beetle, what kind of car would you build? You may use a Toyota Camry for support, and an oldsmobile for a back-stop." This was the only way he knew to get the answer.

Maybe a final for a sculpture class too.. with the back end of the truck pointed up like that, it looks kindof like art. :D

Driver's Ed: F.......

Autobody class: yet to be determined.

Glad no one was hurt, but that was an impressive display of creative driving....I'd be hard pressed to think up something that spectacular.
