Will be smoking something good today. :D

In all seriousness though, probably a good day to broach the subject of quitting smoking with those heavily addicted to cigarettes. Maybe tell them about how you can be a connoisseur of tobacco (cigar smokers?), as opposed to being addicted to the leaf.

About World No Tobacco Day:
The Member States of the World Health Organization created World No Tobacco Day in 1987 to draw global attention to the tobacco epidemic and the preventable death and disease it causes. In 1987, the World Health Assembly passed Resolution WHA40.38, calling for 7 April 1988 to be a "a world no-smoking day." In 1988, Resolution WHA42.19 was passed, calling for the celebration of World No Tobacco Day, every year on 31 May.

I haven't had a cigar in days due to "the crud", but I just became motivated to burn a couple today.

Anything coming from the United Nations and its affiliates is worth ignoring.

Screw them!!!

Only one thing and one thing alone to celebrate today.
It is not World No Tobacco Day for me.
It is Memorial Day.
It is a day to take time to recognize all those who so bravely gave their lives for our freedom.

Let me go light up a great cigar and be thankful I can.
Burn all tobacco products.

Carlos is right - it's Memorial Day. Smoke a good one for the fallen.

Me, I just wish they'd have a "World Of No Fascist @$$hole Sticking His Fat Nose Into My Damn Private Business Day".

Great post Carlos, and I completely agree! I had two cigars this morning at the ceremonies out at the Veteran's cemetary here in Boise. I will surely be smoking something nice tonight too.

Solidarity brothers... I will have to dip into the stash and personally destroy some fine island tobacco.
