As a lot of you guys know, I enjoy the fact that we live on a lake. Today I had a lot of s**t to do but in the afternoon, my friend Chris, my son and I walked to the edge of our property and threw some lines in the water. My boy is 2 and 1/2 and is simply put, my entire world, my entire life and I would give my life in a heartbeat for him, I love him so much. Well, he wanted to fish with us so I figured it was time to show him the ropes and wouldn't you know, the young man got himself a fish! Not the biggest or the baddest, but I cried like a fat man during closing time at the buffet when he landed his first "sunny". Of course he said "Dad, look; a Tuna!".

Wouldn't take much for today's showing. I was like a mute at a spelling competition today. Chris did well though and I enjoyed a Cusano 18 Paired Maduro.

Very cute story, one to remember for sure. However, I think that's a Blue Gill, not a Sunfish!

Took my Daughte fishing yesterday for the second time althought we didn't catch anything we had a great time. That's some good stuff. I though bluegills and sunny's were the same?

You are building memories. I remember my first fish, caught with my father when I was about that age. There have been many fish in between, and I mean many... But I do remember that time with dad.
Peace of the Lord be with you.
