I did the last three promo's that were advertised. The Monticristos, the Romeo y Juliets and the Trinidads. I ordered the Trinidad last, on 3/25.
I just received the Trini's today, but have gotten nothing from the other two promo's. Anyone have better luck with these promos?
Altadis promo cigars typically take forever to come in. Also, I'm not 100% positive on this, but I believe that they don't ship until after the promo has ended, that way they are shipping everything at once.

Are the promos the ones were you pay, or are that free?

I did the RyJ promo (paid $10 up front for sampler) and have not received anything. I was thinking this weekend that I ought to look into it....
I always recieved any I ordered. As noted, typically 6 - 6 weeks. I usually order and forget until the day they show up :)

I did the Monte one several months ago and it took a long time to come. I'd forgotten about them when they arrived. The RyJ sampler didn't actually take too long to get to me. I wish I'd known about the Trini sampler.:(

If you mean the RyJ "Havana Reserve" promo, I got mine loooong after I forgot about it, but that was months ago. The last Monte promo I recall was for their newer "fuerte" blend (I don't remember the name at the moment), and I got that . . . eventually.

I have done the Monte 2 times and the RyJ 4 or 5 times and it takes 6-8 weeks everytime which is what they say when you order.

My RyJ didn't take too long at all to get to me. Id say about 2-3 weeks maybe 4. But I have all but one left of them.

How many Trini's are offered? Unless I'm missing something, it seems to be the only one without a quanitity

Not sure, but typically, the promos are for 3 cigars, sometimes 4.

I did one of their promos for some Monties a couple years ago and a couple months later I received some other cheap machine made cigars. Fine print says they can substitute with other cigars. Needless to say I won't waste my time or money with them again.

The trini sampler came in a nice tin of 4. As for the other promos, Yeah, they can be a pain in the a**, but I'll keep trying all of them. You usually get some decent sticks at a good price and they don't charge you unless they ship out.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.:tu
