My pharmacy school curriculum is finally completed after 4 long school years. I don't graduate for another week, but I am finished finally and it feels great! :xxx

I don't have much else to say other than it's a relief, and now I can finally start getting some sleep at night :D

Congrats. Now that you have finished your classes, is there another test you need to take to be licensed or certified, or whatever the term is? Did you do an RPh or a PharmD?

Thanks! And good questions, finishing the curriculum is for the Pharm.D. Once we've all graduated next week, we start signing up to take the NAPLEX and MPJE to become licensed which gives us our RPh, which is the part that allows us to practice as pharmacists.

So the education is the Pharm.D. but the item that actually makes us pharmacists is the RPh part

Congrats...

Just started my microbiology class this morning as I'm on my way to start nursing school in January. In my lab, the girl:guy ratio is 29:1 of hot co-eds from 18-21 years of age. It'll be like that for the next 2 years through nursing school as well. What was I thinking when I chose my first major in 1993? :r

Cool, thanks for the info. I always wondered what the two titles meant, since before the PharmD, lots of pharmacists had a master's.

I just got hired at CVS as a pharmacy tech. I am registered with my state and am planning to get my national certification this summer.

In August, I start a Molecular Bio BS at University of Central Florida. Leaning towards Pharmacy School at UF after that.
