I'm sitting in a very nice restaurant waiting for my daughter to arrive to celebrate her 21st birthday. I remember rocking her to sleep only a few weeks ago. Where did the time go?

I know what you mean.
Seems like yesterday I had two small kids and was taking them to Disney or school for the first time.
Today, one is 26 and the other one will soon be 23. On top of that, I am a grandfather of a 3 year old.
Time sure flies.

Many more for you and your daughter.
It really adds up on you, doesn't it. I can't remember school but vaguely. It seems like a different life. I have a 26 and 29 year old and 4 year old granddaughter. I wouldn't mind raising another family, though.

Congrats on her 21st. I have two boys, 3 and 7, and it scares the bejesus out of me knowing that they are growing up fast and this world can be a scary damn place. One day at a time.

I came across a quote that sums it up pretty well for me when it seems like time is flying: "The days are long but the years are short."

This sums it up pretty well. Just finished rocking my 9 month old daughter to sleep and boy has it been a long day. I'm just now getting ready to clean the house, tomorrow I have work then we have karate, little league, homework and the wife's bunko night( so I'll have all three girls). But then I look at my oldest girl, who is 9 and I think wow, how did she grow up so fast. So, congrats Warren and I know how you feel.:)

My girls are only 17 months now, but it just seems crazy to say they're 17 months old. Seems like I was just saying they're 6 weeks old. I'm sure I'll be sitting in your shoes one day saying the exact same thing.
And tell 'er Happy Birthday for me.
