If you got the money go ahead and get one. They have been winning championships all over the country.

I own 2 of the Texas BBQ's, the 075 models and they rock! Bought the first 1 in 94 and the second in 06. Bought my parents an 075 in 96 and my best friend owns 3 of em, 2 Texas and 1 executive model. They are built like tanks and will last you a very long time! :tu

I've had one for 6 years and love it! Can't go wrong with a Traeger IMO.

How much smoke do these things output? Would it be an annoyance at an apartment complex?

Specifically the Junior model. I've been considering one of these for a really long time, I just never wanted to drop coin on one since we live in an apartment.

We have had a Little Tex on our competition trailer for about a year. We only use it for chicken in comps, but it is a really nice little cooker. My brother has the 075 and loves it.

The only thing I don't like is finding good pellets. We have had the best luck with cookingpellets.com.

Fortunately, there is a CPA in town that loved his traeger so much he has a side buisness of selling grills and he keeps a good suply of pellets i stock.

So far I did a brisket with cherry that over did just a tad but it was pretty good. Than I did a couple of yardbirds with apple that came out fantastic.

Today I am about two hours into a 9.5# picnic shoulder.

I do have pics on my blackberry I need to figure out how to get them onto the computer to post them.
