Had to take outside to photograph.... to big and too dark to capture inside...

Awesome, wenge is one of my favorite woods, and pretty hard to work with. Respect.

The grain was a very nice surprise..... When I picked the wood up, it was almost as if it was in a fire or something.... "toasted" comes to mind... it had a charcoal feel to it and got my clothes all dirty when I carried the board....

Then.... the big surprise came when I ran it through the planer..... It took me back a bit.... Good Stuff!!!

IT takes up the whole top of my bedroom dresser. People don't even realize it's a humidor since it is massive!!!
