Just picked up one of these on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Bodum-Stainless-16-Ounce-Vacuum-Silicone/dp/B0026L7DWE/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1267732875&sr=8-7

It's funny, for a couple of months I had been thinking about how I never have time to drink enough coffee before I step out the door, but didn't want to take the time to brew more before leaving and then put it in a travel mug. Nor did I want to have to wash both a bodum and a travel mug. I thought "hmm, maybe there is such a thing as a 'travel bodum' ".
SO sure enough, this is pretty much what I had in mind.

Have only tried it once so far but my thoughts:
A bit heavy. Too bad, but not the end of the world.
After pouring the hot water in I was surprised by how warm the outside of the canister felt. I guess it just isn't as well insulated as some travel mugs.
The plunger is great. Push it down, you hardly feel it click in place, but it's pretty well secured. I tried turning the whole thing upside down and there were no leaks.
Again with insulation, I was sort of expecting it to be practically too hot to drink still after 10-20 minutes, but it was not. Still hot, just not piping hot.
Love the overall look, and the texture (raised words) on the rubber.
Even though you basically drink out of a bodum, the coffee did not taste overly strong or silty. The screen in the plunger is finer than in a regular Bodum.
I don't know how it would work with cream/sugar - seems like it would feel a bit stranger throwing all that in with the grounds. But not my problem, I drink it black.

Overall, this is pretty cool, and just what I need as I walk out the door to work.
