First, let me say this is not without financial backing from my father, but I have been working to get this car for him forever now, and I hopefully will be loading it on a transport for him next week.

Ever since I was small, my dad wanted to replace his 1970 chevelle that he had as a kid, but he wanted a small upgrade from the 307 car he owned in the form of a 454 SS LS6 car... If all goes well, I will be picking it up tomorrow and storing it for the next week or two before I can send it off to him. He is like a pig in crap right now... Hopefully all goes well...

It is a SS LS6 clone car, done well, very clean, and the perfect driver for him...

Was able to finalize the deal tonight and towed it home...It gets to sleep with my toy for a few weeks... -(P It will be getting dyno tuned, vintage air installed, and general cleaning up done before it goes off to dad.

There is no replacement for displacement. Cars measured in coke bottle sizes "liters" suck. :) Very nice find and gift for your dad. :tu

I drove it last night for the first time... with the tires on it now, it could never use more power... it is a crap show below 40 or 50 mph... the cobra however has a nos sytem going in soon.
