Yes I know the Man has been dead for nearly 7 years, but he has one last album in the American recordings series out Feb. 23rd, which is also his b-day. It's called Ain't No Grave and from what I've heard so far will rank up there with the best of the American series. There's just nothing better than Cash, IMHO. Miss ya Johnny.

A truly great album. :tu

Redemption Day is my favorite track at the moment. You can definitely hear Johnny's voice falter a time or two on the album but its hauntingly beautiful

Clue, anyone?

I've listened to this album about 3 times throughout the day while doing work and smoking a Boli. The more I listen to it the more I like it.

Redemption Day is still my favorite track with For the Good Times following in a close second. Glad some more bro's are going to pick it up.

I'm going to get it. I'm kinda scared as his last couple albums with Rubin really beat the crap out of my soul.

That's how I've felt about all of his albums with Rubin. I didn't like them at first, but the more I listened to them, the more I liked them. Still, nothing can compare to his old stuff.

I think that would make an awesome title for American Recordings VII, Scott. :)

I hate UPS. Album arrived in Houston at 1:30am this morning. Could have been here today but they decided to just let it sit in Houston an extra 24 hrs. Humbug. :(

Good album, but not in love with it like some of his others. I'll need to listen to it some more.

Amazon $3.99 download deal still available. Just got it today.

Spooky album, but much better than the last two American albums, IMHO.

I had to laugh the other day. A Johnny Cash song came on the radio and my 11yr old daughter started singing it whilst my 26 yr old step daughter looked on in disbelief asking who was this guy!!

We like Johnny so we listen to him- now she does to.:)
