About a month ago, i read about the Joya De Nicaragua serie C
a discontinued conneticut blend that seemed to be all the rage
when it was around. Well one day i walked into a new b&m (for me)
and they had one left. I bought it along w/ some other stuff and
took it home. I can't exactly remember what happened but i think
there was too much humidity in the ziplock bag that i had it stored in
and the cigars w/ cello wrap got wet. Well this was the only one that
ended up getting mold spots on it. I know i'll never find another one...

Should i try smoking it anyway.... Somehow I think i know the answer
to this... It really sucks! It's a big hefty torpedo..... FUGGGGGH!!!

Wipe of whatever mold you see, and smoke it!

I can't tell by the pics alone but that looks like water spots on the wrapper. Nothing to worry about at all. This is caused by tiny spots of water being on the wrapper when it is drying in the sun. If it is mold, which I doubt it is, it will simply wipe off. If it does not wipe off it is a water spot and you can smoke away.

Also most of the time mold growing on a wrapper is white not green.:tu

Looks fine to me.
Dry box it for a week and smoke it....

As long as there is no mold on the foot. In that case you can't tell how far in the mold is.

Yea... those green spots.. is that actually a green discoloration in the wrapper? if so its just a watermark... or can you actually wipe it off?

I don't know why, but that just struck me as funny.

So, where's the mold on this cigar? Mold is white fuzzy stuff growing. I see green spots, water stains. So, if you're not here anymore, I'm going to assume it is from smoking that cigar - while ignoring your wife (sweetheart). :2

No way man. That is a water spot, totally natural, and no reason to worry about anything. It also cannot be wiped off, if it can by the way, then it ain't a water spot.

Smoke away.

Couldn't really tell at first but looks like water spots... smoke it, it's not gonna kill you. Or you can send it this way and I'll smoke it for you. :)

I received some sticks from a BOTL a while back and the humidification device was touching the sticks. They were water logged when I got them with a little bit of mold growing on them to boot. I wiped off the mold and let them dry on my dresser for a week or so and they smoked great.
