Watched the Bud Shootout last night. Man, I am so glad NASCAR is back. I'm hoping Jeff Gordon wins his 5th title this year.

After her 6th place finish in Arca Saturday she is now going to be in the Nationwide race driving #7. She is starting a week earlier that the original plan.

The 500 is always on the 2nd Sunday of February if I'm not mistaken. Just happened to fall on V-Day this year.

I'm looking forward to the season getting started. Duals on Thursday and the big race on Sunday! Boogity Boogity Boogity!!! Hopefully I can convince my wife to watch the race Sunday! :r

I'm hoping Junior can have a more respectable season this year. I think making it into The Chase would be a small victory, but with his backing/team, he should regardless. If he doesn't it would be another major disappointment.

JR needs to do something worthwhile. He has been pathetic lately. Somebody needs to bring Johnson down to Earth.

She is only doing a couple races this year. She isn't going to be racing during the IRL season.

Well, I guess I shouldn't say hockey is boring. I just can't stand watching it b/c they stop the game so often. I hate when you are watching it and then the game stops for 2 minutes for icing.

Despite the wreck, she did pretty well. She said that she expected that. I expected that at Daytona. Not a bad outing for her. She stayed in the top twenty until the wreck. Not a bad first race.

Danica drove very good for her first race Nationwide race at Daytona. She did a great job avoiding and early crash that was in front of her and the one that took her out she had no where to go. She did what she was trained to do, stay high the cars should roll down to the inside.

Glad that Dale Jr. is ok after that amazing crash. He was probably the only car out there that was going to give Stewart a real run. Too bad he got taken out.

It took forever to get there, but a great finish! I thought Junior was going to pull it off. I was pulling for either him or Harvick, but am glad for McMurray. He seems like a good dude.

DIS said the track doesn't need repaving. They said that Jr.'s comments about the track is normal from him. DIS can say what they want, but Jr. wasn't the only one complaining. I think there were millions of people complaining yesterday.

Today's race was a disgrace to auto racing at any level... CA Raceway Sux but I am sure most of the pansy drivers like it because they don't have to race, just drive around and stay 100+ yards apart. :td

What a boring race. I had the hockey game on most of the time. It is pretty bad when only a handful or 2 of the cars are on the lead lap. COME ON NASCAR!

I say take the spoilers off the cars.... whoever has the biggest stones between their legs and can stick the throttle down wins :r

That was a spectacular crash today. I actually laughed when they interviewed Edwards and he admitted he crashed the guy on purpose.

The wing was at fault for the car going airborne. Spoilers debut next week at Martinsville. Good to see them back. Now we can see more retaliation w/o too much danger.
I don't see why everyone's outraged at Edwards, when good ol' #3 would do this each and every week and get cheered for it.

I loved Joey Logano's comments post-race where he said DeLana Harvick wears the firesuit in the relationship :r

I wish the crew members would get the heck out of the way and Logano could have "talked" to Harvick. I thought it was hillarious how Logano's dad ran up to Joey and pointed to Harvick as if to say "Go get 'em son!" :r

I would have loved for someone other than Phill Parsons to have interviewed Harvick post race. He didn't push the issue. I would have loved to hear what Kevin really thought.

Why was the 29 crew acting as security? I like Logano, but seriously, what could he have done? He barely weighs 100lbs. They should have let him get up to Harvick. I seriously doubt he would have swung at him. Logano needs to step it up and quit letting everyone run over him. Pull a Kyle Busch and storm into Harvick's trailer and sit and wait.:)

Great finish to an otherwise boring race. As much as I don't like FOX's coverage of NASCAR, TNT made me wish FOX carried NASCAR all year.

I want to see more short track racing. They shut most of them down in the 90s. Take one from Pocono and give it to a short track. I miss the Rock and N. Wilkesboro. Don't shut Pocono down completely; at least it isn't a cookie cutter 1.5 mile speedway. Atlanta, Charlotte, Michigan, Texas, Kansas, Chicago... they're all the same track.

They have to throw "debris" cautions in order to make it even close to being exciting. I would love to see N. Wilkesboro come back.
