Okay, so tell me what is your favorite cigar for under 2 dollars? Tell me the size, ring gauge and what makes the cigar a good buy for under $2 (this could be flavor, cigar size, value for the money)? For a kicker does it come in a maduro stick.

I would have to go with the Oliva G Special G Maduro. I think this cigar has great chocolatey flavors and it is a nice small stick, so it is easy to smoke between classes, or on a winter evening when it is to cold to spend an hour outside. By the box, they run about $1.75 each.

Smoked my first this past weekend and it was GREAT. Need to look into a box of 'em for sure.

I also have been enjoying the new batch of Nic 3000s, right at $2 each.

La Vieja Habana - The Early Years Silencio 4x46 PC box of 24 for $39.99 One of my favorite PC's for flat out Nicaraguan rich flavor with a chocolaty finish. Awesome short smoke that I believe also fits your maduro requirement.

I'm gonna agree with Duck and say LVH, but I'm gonna switch it up and say the LVH Corojo. You can get the Bombero (6.0" X 50) for under 2 bucks all day long. These are great little jewls that often get dismissed due to the mixed filler, but the flavor and construction out way that point by miles.

I like the longer cigars of the same rg, but those two right there are heaven.
If the Special G Maduro has about 8 months on it, they're incredible, too.
The SP's are ready to go right out of the box and hang on to their flavor for a good, long while, whereas the Special G maddie fades fast once it hits a year.
Man, I need a cigar.

Hands down, my favorite inexpensive every-other-day smoke.
Especially the Gloriosos. I keep at least 120 of these at all
times in their own Tupperdore. Age 'em 6-9 months & they're
quite good. A year plus, they're even better. They come often
enough on CBid that there's never a reason to spend more than
$1.40@, & that includes shipping costs.

Other under-$2 favorites (including shipping):
El Mejor Espresso Torpedo & Toro
Padilla Obsidian Belicoso
Padilla Hybrid Robusto
Felipe Gregorio Dominicana Torpedo

5 Vegas Series 'A' any size

Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte Cordoba - a truly great tasting cigar after aging for half a year or more. Full, concentrated and almost Cuban flavour!

5 Vegas Gold Robusto - very mild but with nice character after a shorter aging. A perfect cigar for beginners but also enjoyable for the more experienced for a change of pace!

Both are slightly over $2 where I usually buy them but I guess they can be found cheaper!

How about FOUR CFO #7 Robustos! 50 cents each, they are hard to beat!:ss
Well it's not every day that I happen upon a testimonial from someone I respect that concerns a cigar I would never smoke. Now I will politely smoke one if given to me, but I would not be buying any, for sure. Well, this new troop support bender I got on recently has got me thinking about all kinds of different things, and I have been sampling the wares to see if I am really a dyed in the wool Havana only guy. WE SHALL SEE about this mythic Blend #7 robusto. I went ahead and grabbed two bundles with NO idea of what to expect, and in reality, they are going to troops anyway, but I will be smoking at least three to get a feel for what I am sending out. One thing I DID manage to remember, JR Alternatives are an alternative only to smoking your own feces. I remembered that from before, but for some reason I figured that times were different now. Nope, still crap, but about a buck 50 each. Poor troops :)

But no more of them, I promise.
