View Full Version : RIP Scouty.....
Out of nowhere my 6 year old Boxer "Scout" went down this afternoon/evening. Good as gold all morning, started to get lethargic in the afternoon, rush to the vet at 7:00 and he never made it there....
Has been healthy as a horse, he is my running partner....he has yearly vet checks, Hell he has insurance....
Of course they have ideas as to what could have happened, all heart related.... But what a phucker....
Man I hate this chit.... Tough to outlive our dogs....:(

Losing a dog suddenly is hard. I had a Jack Russell do about the same thing.

My condolences. Mid last year, we put down our 17 year old Black Lab.
Thank you all. I appreciate your condolences and kind words. I am always a little awestruck at how a pet can weave its way into our hearts, becoming another member of the family....

He's in Doggy Heaven now.
You'll easily find another great dog that needs a loving home Bro...(I hope :) )
Man I am so sorry to hear this - I know exactly how you feel after losing my TJ back in October suddenly. It's very tough.

Very sorry to hear. Just lost my Border Collie rather quickly, which I suppose is a blessing.
Nothing like a good dog, nothing.
Planned on waiting for another, but am housebreaking a pup as we speak.

So sorry for your loss. Our "furry kids" really do become family, and it's never easy to lose one...especially too early. Hang in there.
