This morning I just grabbed the first cigar I saw. The lawn was frozen and I didn't know how long I would be outside for. Well I ended up spending about an hour and 20 minutes enjoying this cigar. The 3 cups of coffee I drank helped keep me warm also.
This is a box pressed cigar, which I don't particularly care for. The pre-light draw was easy with a slight hint of coffee. The construction was very nice, with no flaws that I could find.

It starts of with mild earthy note, tons of smoke from a nice easy draw. I'm not really getting any of that great maduro flavor on my lips though.

The burn was fairly even, and as it moved along to the second 3rd, a very creamy leather flavor came through. I was enjoying the flavor of this, even though I didn't care for the feel of the box press.

The final 3rd brought about 2 distinct flavors. For the beginning, I got a very nice toasted leather flavor from this cigar. As it moved towards the finish, it changed to a very lite pepper note. The burn remained even and I was quite pleased with this smoke.

I would say this is a mild-medium cigar. Some very nice flavors from start to finish. Perhaps I will get used to the awkward feel of a box pressed cigar....
