Filler: Honduran and Nicaraguan Cuban Seed
Binder: Brazilian
Price: N/A – Prototype

Some information from Steve Saka (borrowed from a forum post by TG) states that the Dirty Rat is the result of trying to recreate the classic Liga Privada #9 profile in a corona size, however he feels that they never got that quite right. In the process Luis (lead torcedor and gallery supervisor) came up with this blend. Steve goes on to share that this may never see the light of day as the process used to create these bunches makes the cigar cost-prohibitive, it actually costs more to produced the Dirty Rat than a toro size Liga Privada #9.

That's interesting that it costs more to produce this than a toro LP9. And that is an awesome cutter.

So do I Tim (I have a blog too www.cigarguide.org, not as professional and beautiful like yours though) but giving a teaser and draw attention to a blog that way just ain't my style. To me, I feel its not fair towards the ToE. But hey, I am just a visitor and if the ToE don't have problems with it, nothing I can do, other then express my opinion ;)

Right now, The LP No. 9 Robusto sits at the top of my list of favorites.

The only problem is I smoked up my last box and I'm currently down to 2 sticks. :(

I had (3) "Dirty Rats" gifted to me from Mr. Saka.....I loved them! Kinda a cross between the Joya De Nicaragua Celebracion and a Liga Privada #9...I enjoyed it very much. Good burn, excellent construction, Lower side of full body and flavor. Oh yeah....YUMMY!!!

Drew Estates needs to man up and just make this cigar regular production, or at least a small batch limited edition. The buzz on the forums and blogs for this stick alone should justify an LE. Bump up your margin and just make the damn thing already Saka, you have the masses drooling;)
