Your rain in Florida it will stop.

I left my house this morning and it was 4 degrees. two weeks ago it was 65 degrees. It will be like this for the next 2 months

Don't you know Cubans are the best long distance swimmers ever? We can do a 90 mile swim in a heartbeat.:r

I can't wait for the folks in the NE to chime in. They have over a foot of snow headed their way.

I do appreciate all the consolation.:r

Close.
I had to empty the overflowing pool last night in the middle of the rain.
Water was creeping its way half way up my patio table where you were at.

I emptied it again this morning and it is about two inches from overflowing again. It is really pouring now since I started this thread. I pissed someone off.

I usually want to move to South Florida, but for today I want to move to Central Florida. :)

I'm gonna come down and suffer through it from the 6th to the 13th.
I'm going a little further south though.
Keep bailing, Carlos. I'd like it if you had it all cleaned up when I get there. :D
And yeah, someone said it was supposed to snow crazy here today or tonight. I have four wheel drive and a thermostat on the wall. I just twist that thermostat thing and it's all just fine. :)
If I have to go out, there's a thermostat thing in the four wheel drive, too. :tu

Hope the deluge ends soon, Carlos. Floods are serious business. Hope our friend Bill in the Keys has his scuba tanks filled just in case it gets much worse.

Carlos... I would trade the cold for a torrential rainstorm and the opportunity to hang out with you and Clara in your flooded pool any day of the week.

Gotta give him a call.
Keys folks are "different".
Probably not even phased.
They have a "Jeff Spicoli" look on life.:r

Fortunately, seems like mostly flooded roads and cars. Haven't heard of any major losses.

Carlos, I know what you mean. I'm in Miami right now. Need to be in Weston tonight. Not looking forward to the drive.

As long as it's all clear in Orlando from the 25th-31st, it's all good. :p Hell, I suppose I'll take a little rain. Definitely better than the weather here right now!

You should be OK.
The system is leaving us by tonight and headed northbound to cause some more problems up that way.
I don't ever recall seeing so much rain, in December, our dry season, in South Florida. It has been something to witness.

Made it safe and sound back and forth from Kendall to Weston. On the plus side, I found a cigar bar there. Went in, purchased sticks, but didn't stick around. Didn't like the atmosphere. It was loud, crowded, and douchey in there.

Carlos, I'll trade your tropical rainstorm and overflowing pool over my snow and 20 degree weather and icy roads.
