I'm a little new to this and was wondering what the best website was to order individual cigars? Thanks in advance.

What are you looking for? There are a whole lot of vendors out there. Some have good prices on some things and not so good on others. Some are exclusive to a particular house brand or national brand that only that online store has access to.

I used Cigars International and Famous at first but now only go to cigarplace.biz and egars.com for my NC needs. They both have excellent pricing and ship fast. Highly recommended.
There is a stickied thread about online cigar sites too.

Wherever you decide to order from, you're better off ordering a sampler or 5er if you don't want to commit to a box. Singles are almost always more per stick.

Why dont you take a moment to introduce yourself in the New Members thread and tell us a little about yourself and what you like to smoke.
For some the biggest and cheapest vendor might be the best choice. Others may want more personalized service and are willing to pay a bit more per box.

CI and Famous are good for some brands but I just shop around.
egars is great for Padron, DCM, My Father, VSG and others.
I like cigarplace for DPG Cuban Classics but they are close.

I would just visit some of the places that have been mentioned then and just purchase assorted 5 pack samplers. If you introduce yourself and tell us a little more about you. Santa Claus may come stuff your stocking.
Personally, for what you are looking for, I like cigar.com, famous, and cigars international.

In addition to the above I also like Taboo Cigars (http://www.taboocigars.com/).

That's why I suggested samplers or 5ers. They'll be cheaper than buying singles. Also samplers come in various combinations, so you can look for mild cigars, maduros, cigars from a specific country, from a specific brand, etc.
Once you've been active here for a bit, you'll get access to the trading forum. You can get some unbelievable deals from the members here with WTS (want to sell) threads, or post your own WTB (want to buy) thread if you're looking for something in particular.
Anyway, you should probably start a thread in the New Inmate Processing Area and introduce yourself.

I have found the cigars international samplers to be very good as well. I think I bought around 3 of them and they introduced me to a wide range of brands and tastes.

For regular orders I use Cigars International and Famous Smoke, been using them for a long time with no problems or complaints. I like to shop "the monster" www.cigarmonster.com (owned by Famous) and the "Joes Daily Special" http://www.joecigar.com/index.asp (owned by Cigars International) and cigar.com daily special http://www.cigar.com/DailyDeal/ccCigarDeals.asp (also owned by Cigars International) for specials on 5 paks and samplers. All of these offer frequent great buys and their service is excellent.
There are a number of other very good online sources too but these are my preferred ones.

Yeah, I've had pretty good luck with them, although these days I get my CI smokes almost exclusively through cbid. As long as you check your prices and are careful with your auto-bids, you can make out with some great deals.

I did not notice your "individual stix" note (singles) - Taboo is probably the best source for Singles. They have them priced fairly and also provide excellent service.
I believe Tampa Humidor has free shipping on singles. This STICKY (http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1612)also has lots of vendor links.
CI and Famous have just about everything. JR cigars is super cheap and has a big selection but they mostly carry Altadis brands, which means no Padron, DPG, Tatuaje, etc...
oh, I have to recommend one local shop here in Houston that has a great website and a huge selection of smokes. www.seriouscigars.com
Wow....that egars.com does have great prices... Sometimes I wonder when a price looks too good to be true. If this place is good stuff, I am sure I will be dumping some money there.
Being new to this, I have only ordered from CI and Atlanticcigar.com, both with positive results. Or....and cigarbid.com....
