I love good Christmas music... not necessarily 90% of the crap they play on the radio though.

One of my current favorites is The Three Tenors Christmas

Other pretty good ones:
A Real Irish Christmas
Canadian Brass: Noel
BB King: A Christmas Celebration of Hope
Westminster Cathedral Christmas
Nat King Cole: Christmas Favorites
etc etc

Also neat is this collection of recordings from Wax Cylinders. Amazingly different despite only being 80-90 years old. Also free mp3s since they are so old:

anyone else have any favorites?

Frankly, I can't stand Christmas music anymore. Working in radio and hearing it 9-10 hours a day everyday for a month and a half, for over a dozen years, really turned me off to it

Love listening to Burl Ives at Christmastime. :)

My favorite is Gladys Knight and the Pips Xmas album....imagine an angel singing "Ave Maria".

I like the "old school" Xmas crooners.
Perry Como, Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, to name just a few.

I don't have a favorite album, but some favorite artists are Bing, Frank, and Dean. Ill throw Nat in there as well.

I'm a fan of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra myself. For more traditional, it's hard to go wrong with Johnny Mathis's Christmas.

I will listen to just about anything for Christmas music, but nothing brings back the memories such as this album: http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Merry_Christmas_from_Sesame_Street

I listened to it just about every single Christmas Eve.

Only thing is that it was never released on CD so I am going to have to get it converted since I do not have anything to play vinyl.

Definitely different, but the guy plays a sweet horn. Try Chris Botti's December (2002) when you need to slow down and reflect a little.
