Note to self: eat lunch before smoking one of these again !!
This is a full bodied cigar, no doubt about that. I had to put it down a couple times, and get up to walk around a bit. It had my head spinning. First time that has happened to me. This is a great looking cigar with no imperfections that I could find.

This one starts off with a nice strong spice flavor. Tons of smoke coming off the cigar, and just as much smoke form a nice easy draw. The oily wrapper was clearly visible in the sunlight. Burn was a bit uneven and a couple touch-ups were needed.

As we progressed, a very heavy pepper flavor came through. I really enjoyed the taste of this one. Draw remained easy, but the uneven burn would not go away.

The spicy pepper flavored remained till the end. This is not a smoke to have first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee. Even with the burn issues, I really enjoyed this one. It was surely one of the stronger cigars I have had thus far. I look forward to trying the rest of the Camacho line.

Next up on your list should be be the Camacho (Black) Coyolar.
You'll completely understand why the marketing campaign for that cigar was ""Say Uncle""...

Nice review. You might want to try pairing a strong cigar like that with a Coke, or even a bit of sugar under your tongue. It helps when the vitamin N kicks you in the face.

Yup this one kicked me in the junk once too, a couple months after I started smoking regularly I smoked one of these...no dinner, and I was on a work call so I didnt really notice the vitamin N kicking in. I damn near threw up when all was said and done. I laid on the couch for a good hour before I dared get up. :pu
Needless to say I havent went back to try that one again :r
Nice review, love me some Camachos.
Nice review Nick. There are really good cigars.
This is not a smoke to have first thing in the morning with a cup of coffee.
I must have missed that memo.

You get more than what you pay for with these. This cigar is far from boring.

Anyone remember the corojo's when they first came out? That first inch or so was a doozy. Not like the current ones are that much different.

Thanks for chiming in. Not sure how recent releases are considered "full" bodied when compared to the originals (1999?), I find them medium at best these days. Flavor has changed as well (not in a good way, IMO).

I just finished one of these. Nice flavors, solid medium-full. The Triple Maddie has a bit more kick, IMO, but they're both tasty.

I have some mid 90's sticks and I actually prefer the flavor of the current ones. But yeah, definitely not a powerhouse stick. But they are my go to, always good when I need it to be, stick. I like both the natural and the maduro.

I need to buy a few more to see what's going on. The last batch I bought, both Corojo and Criollo, were mostly flat flavor wise and medium at best. That was about a year ago.
