View Full Version : Fuente Anejos
So being that I am under the impression that this years Anejos should be hitting stores in the next 10 days or so, do they usually go for MSRP or do must shops bump the price?
What is the approx. MSRP of a box of #77's or #50's and what are the chances of getting one at MSRP?
Thanks in advance....

The local B&M (Holts) sells them at MSRP. As for what MSRP is... check out www.vitolas.net. They are good with Fuente stuff.

I believe most shops have lots of tax to work with so MSRP will be tough in many states. There will be some shops that sell them at msrp though...oh and they are out already or on their way to stores now. Tampa sweethearts has them in stock except for the #50s I believe.

I see in the notes that the $1 for schip was added. Question: Do the prices listed reflect the additional $1 or do you have to add it to the price to get msrp?

I think each B&M or online source are going to be pretty close as there will be more this season. Since I love Opus X cigars and don't like the Anejo ( go figger ) I hope to get Opus as sticker this year when I go for a visit to my favorite B&M next month in Palm Beach.

Wasn't there a shipment of Opus that went out last month? My B&M had quite a few come in and quickly depart the shop. Anejos should be hitting soon, and my B&M usually sells them close to MSRP. The only Opus I am looking for this year is the Opus A; I try to get one every year and then drop it in my locker for future consumption.

I don't think T.S. ever sells boxes of Anejos, just singles.

Most the shops I have gone to seem to stick to that 2-4 sticks per customer.

$300 to $350 for a box of sharks is kosher 20 in a box, if you get em cheaper than you got a deal.

Yes and yes...most shops will limit your purchase unless they know ya real well...I got a text from the owner one of my favorite B&Ms today...he got his anejos in today...all sizes and some hemi maduros too...on a side note the tat blacks should be in early next month in a 10 count box and I'm betting there will be a ton around...(compared to the tat black jars release)
And if you call TS they will see you 2 of each size, so you can grab 10ish right now which isn't bad at all.

Holts has always had a 2 per limit since I've been buying them . I made alot of trips there a couple years ago because they were worth the trouble . Last year I went once as they were not nearly as good as other years . Good luck on your Anejo hunt ! :tu

Just wondering why you think the Sharks are overrated? You can say you don't like them that much but to say they are overrated is a little off base... they are popular for a reason. I personally love them... :2
