seriously, how many sizes of 5Vegas Series 'A' do they need?

Just got my CI catalog and they have added ANOTHER size... called the AAA.

So now they have:
5.5x55
5x52
5x56

In addition to 7 other sizes... so 10 sizes for a single blend... does that seem a bit overboard??

Shame it's not even a good smoke. :r

Is it a new blend? If so, why the same name?

I got one of the other vitolas in a blind taste test and was pleasantly surprised. They're not a bad smoke. On the other hand, I need another 50+RG cigar like I need a hole in the head. When will they learn?

That does not make it good. :2

reminds me of a humorous story about Rocky Patel...

when he finds discolored cigars, he creates a new blend rather than throw them out.....:r

I really wanted to like 5 Vegas. I have smoked the A, Gold, Classic, Miami and I thought they were all junk. Just because their popular does not make them good. A lot of cigar smokers I know, just smoke cigars to smoke cigars. They're not out smoking for flavor and taste. I smoke for flavor and taste.

But being popular does make it reasonable to expand the line. :2

I've liked the Classic, Relic, and CSII. The As have been very inconsistent, and the Golds were like smoking air.

AAA Is a different blend. I like the 5 Vegas A, Miamai, CSII, and Classic. I'll try a AAA if I get the chance.

If it's a new blend I'll probably try it. I've pretty much given up on the As, though.

Miami's are worth smoking imho and I think the Gold's are better than CAO's if you are into connies.

I have to agree with you there, With only exception being that they are cheap smokes, so if I'm low on funds I can get a bunch to last a while. They are quite a bit overrated, I think they just tried to ride the Name dropping to get sales going.

Only blend from the brand that I enjoy is the Miami and I will only pick them up if I can score a deal on C-Bid otherwise I'll pass on them. I like them for smoking in the car when I can't pay as much attention to a smoke.

Zackly... And isn't "good" a subjective term? I would suspect they sell so many because people, at least some, feel they are "good"...

The Series A is a good smoke for the money.

IMHO, the 5 vegas A is marginal at best. I don't search them out, but if I stumble on them cheap enough, I will occasionally pull the trigger on a 5 pack.
