Are they talking human, or do some cultures use bull or another animal's? Either way, GROSS.
Book would make a great conversation piece for a coffee table book, greg gag gift, etc.

Don't ask, don't tell! I also find it hard to believe that urine was(is?) used in many soups! I know of blood sausage, but never heard it was made with a woman's cycle blood. Makes me wonder if this isn't a joke, but in this day and age you can't be sure!
