This is a comparison of the major types of different ways to cut a cigar. Shown are the characteristics and differences between the new Cigar Spike, a punch cutter built in to one of my lighters I got from Buylighters.com, a traditional straight cut by a Cuban Crafters Perfect Cutter, and on a torpedo a straight vs. angled cut by a Xikar. The video is in two parts (part two will play automatically after 1). Giveaway details in the vid!

Very nice video! I am also a huge fan of the Cuban Crafters cutter.

That cutter seems pretty decent. I have noticed pinching with cheaper guillotine cutters.

I went on their website to check out the perfect cutter, and they are sold out. Have they been sold out for sometime now?

I picked up a couple of these cutters at my local B&M, might be worth a try.
Personally I think that it gives a cleaner cut than the other cutters that I have used, Xikar, Palio, Zino etc. etc.
I would shop around though, this cutter should only run you $15.00

Good luck.

Nice job Bryan. Which cutter do you like/use the most? I like the Cuban Crafter cutter.

That cigar spike.....even though a cigar cutter probably is not allowable on airplanes.

I have all of those and I do like the cuban crafters cutter second to my Boston V Cutter. Palio is good as well as Xikar but I still go with what brought me to the dance and that is the Boston V Cut. 10 years later it still cuts like brand new and that is probably at least 3000 cigars I've smoked in the last 10 years,,,easy.

Do you mean the desktop cutter or the pocket model. Do you know how much the pocket models are?
