Hell my youngest son rocks a pair of old school Chuck Taylors... He usually does so with shin high bright blue cookie monster socks.

Not only would wear those but I would do so with style. ;) :tu

I like the picnic styled pairs myself, but I would only ware the red, green and yellow ones on vacation in Jamaica, so that I could blend in with the locals (:
