I had been thinking about this project for a while. The case is the Pelican 1500. Trays are from Ron at Cigar Solutions (props to Ron!!). Trimmed the trays by about 3/8", more or less, on the long side to make two fit side-by-side per layer. Will hold 100 churchills and DCs snugly using the trays, 20 cigars per layer x 5 layers, or easily 150 coronas and PCs. 65% humidity sheets line the top and bottom. Bring on the annual herf!

Nice case!
You can probably double the capacity by using 5-finger bags instead of trays. I have a 30 count cigar caddy that holds 50-60 when I use bags instead of trays.

That is damn sweet. You may need to start considering making a trunkador, using the trunk of your car if you need any more cigars than that at a herf:banger

I don't know how much the Pelican Case is but I know Harbor Frieght has an inexpensive version of these. Not nearly as nice but not bad either. Just a budget option.

Nice!!! :tu
here is 1 that I made for myself. this one has 5 layers of trays. 22 cigars per layer, so a 110 cigar capacity. has wheels and a telescopic handle. it will be showing up at the next herf.
