I think they are molds? or forms? not sure. This is what happens when you take your wife on work deliveries on a Monday. You end up hitting consignment shops and antique stores! I saw these 2 guys at an antique mall, no price was on the second one, but the first one was $100.00. Everything was expensive at the Antique mall :(
Are these things worth anything?

I don't know anything about how much they're worth in the antique world. But I do know that I've almost bought very similar items at least three times. The ones I saw were priced between $25 and $50 depending on vitola, condition and (I assume) age.
I'll probably bite the next time I come across one. Thanks for the pics. :tu
$24.99 + 9.95 S/H on eBay.

I have one similar to that. Paid $30. It's a very common vitola. They made thousands of those.

Everything at these antique malls was outrageously priced, and I saw that first press early on in the building, should have known by the time we went through 2 buildings that EVERYTHING there was overpriced :)
Was cool to get pics of them though!

I bought some molds from CI (make me an offer) 5 for 50 bucks. The ones from CI aren't old or rare ( just used ). The one in the pic looks good and different shape from the batch I purchased. I would be happy with that purchase...If you need some seeds, LMK
