I just posted on another forum, and as my post appeared I noticed that I had a second smoke ring. I looked at the FAQs to see when and how you gain smoke rings, but there isn't anything stated.

Anyway, I just thought - cool!

I don't know. I just noticed that when you hit 100, you get two rings. I don't really care about it to bother. And I hope the mods won't be bombarded with questions about it.

Yeah I've kinda wondered about it myself. Best I could figure was the little circles are in corrilation with post count and the bands are in correlation with RG, but I haven't figured out which bands come at which points.

Every 100 points of rep earned earns another ring. Post count doesn't come into play for them.
